The formula for drinking water is half of our body weight in ounces per day.  Each person is a different size and weight therefore this formula is suitable for every individual.  Lack of water can cause many serious problems, after 4 days of no water a human can die.  If you wait to drink water until you are thirsty this means you are already dehydrated. Water supplies the lubricant for your entire body; joints and saliva especially. Without enough water you can begin to suffer from dehydration.
