For this International Women’s Day, I wanted to feature a trio of local women who I admire in health and wellness. I’ve worked with all three of these women and have been delighted by not just the services that they offer, but also them as people.
Christine Lovejoy | Life Center Therapies for Well-Being and Morning Light Yoga
Christine offers various types of massage at Life Center Therapies for Well-Being. With over 30 years of experience, I can attest that she offers one of the best massages in Coeur d’Alene. She also teaches yoga alongside some other wonderful teacher in the area at her studio, Morning Light Yoga. I love taking her classes as she really works on poses with intention.
Lindsey Sichelstiel | White Cypress Natural Health
Lindsey is the owner and license acupuncturist at White Cypress Natural Health. White Cypress offers many services beyond acupuncture, including essential oil treatments, cupping and massage (including Swedish, acupressure, Tuina and more). She also carries a selection of handmade balms, tinctures and salves highlighting local medicinal plants.
I’ve had many acupuncture appointments with Lindsey and recommend her to anyone seeking acupuncture.
Stephanie Price | Skin & Tonic
My last featured woman is Stephanie Price from Skin & Tonic. Stephanie offers customized facials using Laurel Whole Plant Organic products. I would personally say that Stephanie’s facials are more than just a facial. They run from 75 minutes to 135 minutes in length. She can include services like scalp, neck, shoulder and face massage, as well as foot soaks (with crystals, healing salts, and oils) and includes either Vodder MLD, Gua Sha, Dien Chan Zone, or Thai Poultice facial massage with her longest offering. We are lucky to have Stephanie in our wellness community. I can’t wait to go back for another facial!
I hope you get the opportunity to work with these talented ladies in our community! We are blessed to have them all. Happy International Women’s Day.
